Pour sa 19\u00e8me exposition temporaire, l\u2019Association des Amis de la Grenouill\u00e8re pr\u00e9sente l\u2019\u00e9volution de ce loisir \u00e0 travers des albums de canotiers, v\u00e9ritables bandes dessin\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9poque, t\u00e9moignages savoureux mais jamais expos\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le canotage a eu aussi ses vedettes, c\u00e9l\u00e8bres pour d\u2019autres motifs, et cela t\u00e9moigne de la diffusion des loisirs nautiques parmi la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019alors. Un v\u00e9ritable photo- reportage avant la lettre, inconnu en France, est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 Guy de Maupassant canotier, le plus \u00ab mordu \u00bb et le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre.
